There’s nothing to stop you from finding and arranging training for yourself. More and more courses are delivered at times which will allow you to combine working and learning and some courses use distance learning, which means you can study in your own time and own pace from home.

At 16/17 everyone needs to be in some form of recognised education and training up to the age of 18.
The Right to Time Off for Study or Training is open to you if you are employed and have worked for your employer continuously for 26 weeks.
The training must help you do your job better and at least 250 people must work for the company that employs you. Time off is usually unpaid unless your employer agrees to pay it.
